2012 PRODUCTION AND TOUR!

NEW WINE is a music/drama troupe of high school students and is based out of First Lutheran Church in Morris, Minnesota. Under the direction of Pastor Dell Sanderson, Pastor Cheryl Matthews and Pastor Paul Erdal, NEW WINE rehearses during the school year and tours in early summer.

In its commitment to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, NEW WINE produces contemporary Christian musicals each year, offering them locally in Dessert-Theatre format in May and putting them on the road in June. This year the First Lutheran based troupe of 39 area high school students is busy preparing for their production of ONCE UPON A PARABLE. ONCE UPON A PARABLE is a musical in which a group of energetic storytellers try to capture the humor and contemporary flavor of the parables....and use them to retell the story of Jesus. Dessert-Theatre dates are May 6, 9, 12 & 13 at First Lutheran, beginning each night with dessert at 6:00pm and the performance at 7:00pm. Advanced ticket sales only. Tickets will go on sale April 8, 2012. Please call the church office at (320) 589-3242 for more information. Departing on June 18th, the troupe will be traveling to Chicago. In addition to performing, the troupe will be doing some service work as well as sight-seeing.
